Weekly Update 08.23.24
Dear Parents and Community Members,
We’ve had a great second week here at CSA and everyone is settling nicely into their new routines!
This week, we conducted DIBELs testing and had our first CSA First Lego League meeting for the 24-25 school year. If you missed it, there’s still time to join! Click on the link above or check out the flyer below for more information and sign-up details. Also, there are only two days left to sign up to be the CSA representative for DAAC. Use this link to sign up for this unique opportunity!
As we move into week three, please note that Star testing for Literacy and Math will be conducted at all levels. This important assessment helps us gauge student progress and tailor our instruction to meet their needs. Additionally, ACCESS screening will continue for any new students who require them to assess their English language proficiency.
Mark your calendars! Our much-anticipated Homecoming Parade is scheduled for September 21st, and this year’s theme is Candyland. We can’t wait to see our students and families come together to celebrate in sweet, colorful style. Stay tuned for more details as the date approaches.
In addition, don’t miss out on our new STEM gear! We have some exciting deals available each week, so be sure to check the flyer linked below for the latest offers.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement. It’s your dedication that makes our school community so special. If you’re looking for additional ways to support CSA, please scroll to the bottom of this message for more information.
Warm regards,

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
Are you passionate about your student’s education and eager to represent your school? If so, we invite you to apply for the 2024-2025 WPS District Accountability Advisory Council (DAAC). This is your chance to dive deeper into the workings of our district, connect with district officials, share valuable information with your school community, and network with other engaged parents and community members.
Joining the WPS DAAC means you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of our District's mission, operations, and strategic priorities. This knowledge will empower you to be a more effective leader and advocate for your school. It’s an invaluable opportunity to make a real difference.
Applications are open now until August 25th at 11:59 pm. For new members, the first meeting will be on September 3rd. We are committed to ensuring every parent has the opportunity to engage with their school and district in meaningful ways. However, space is limited, so apply now.
