Last Week of Semester 1 for the 24-25 School Year
Hello CSA Friends and Families,
As we continue to embrace the holiday spirit, our school is buzzing with exciting events and important updates. Here's what you need to know for the coming week:
Updates and Reminders
Assessments Near Completion:
We have nearly completed our mid-year assessments. Make-up sessions will be held early next week. We aim for 100% participation in these assessments, as the results will guide our planning for the second semester and ensure every student’s success.
Field Trips:
The first 2024–2025 field trip to Breckenridge was a huge success! Ms. Farrel and Ms. Arlesia will be taking the second group of this year's 8th graders skiing on Tuesday, December 17. Please ensure students are prepared with signed permission slips and appropriate attire for the weather.
Registration Deadlines:
If you haven’t completed your intent-to-reenroll forms, now is the time! This updated process helps us plan effectively for next year. Please see below for more details. If you have any questions, reach out to the front office for assistance.
Dismissal for Boys & Girls Club:
CSA will be making some adjustments to our dismissal process for students attending Boys & Girls Club at Hidden Lake. Stay tuned for details in next week’s update. These changes will take effect starting January 2025.
Lost and Found:
Please check the lost and found for any misplaced jackets, water bottles, hats, gloves, or lunch boxes. Items can be retrieved before or after school. Any remaining items will be donated when we return from the holiday break.
Festive Celebrations

We believe that uniforms can help build community. We also believe that individual style is important! For that reason, there are lots of ways that students and familes can show their school spirit at STEM. In addition to the yearly shirt exchange (see flyer below), families can purchase shirts and other swag from our School Store or directly through our vendor.

Many organizations partner with schools to give back to our community, and we’re excited to share information about these valuable collaborations. Flyers detailing these partnerships will be displayed around the school and at the PTA tent, so be sure to check them out to learn how these organizations are supporting our students and programs.
