Thanksgiving Break, Holiday Gift Shop, and Enrollment for the 25-26 School Year
Hello CSA Friends and Families,
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to wish you all a joyful holiday filled with love, gratitude, and celebration. May this week bring you cherished moments with your loved ones, delicious food, and plenty of laughter. We are so grateful to have each of you as part of our wonderful community!
When we return, we’ll dive into the final stretch of our first semester. Students will have just three short weeks before the holiday break, so we’re gearing up for some exciting activities, including our Holiday Gift Shop!
The Gift Shop will run from December 2nd to December 5th during school hours. Hosted by the CSA PTA for the third year, this event gives students a chance to purchase affordable gifts for family and friends, with items starting as low as $0.25.
On Monday, December 2nd, classes will preview the shop, and students will receive a shopping list and money envelope to take home. We encourage families to discuss ways students can earn money at home to use at the shop. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to practice budgeting and decision-making skills!
Students should have brought home a flyer about the Gift Shop this week, but we’ve also attached it below for your convenience. This event is a CSA favorite, and we’re thrilled to bring it back again this year!
On another note, we’re making some changes to our school application and registration timelines. By starting the process earlier, we aim to better prepare for our student and teacher needs. Please complete your intent-to-reenroll forms as soon as possible to secure your spot for next year. If you have any questions, we’re here to help!
As part of this process, we’re excited to invite prospective parents to our CSA Parent Info Night. This event will take place on December 4th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Additional details can be found on the flyer below—please spread the word to anyone interested in joining the CSA family!
Also, don’t forget that the CSA Talent Show is fast approaching! Be sure to review the rules below and use the provided link to sign up. Permission slips are due by December 9th.
Finally, we’re hosting a clothing drive for the STEM Boutique @Union (for Levels 6-8 students). Please talk with your students about how they can support this initiative by donating new or gently used clothing. Donations can be dropped off at the school office. Let’s spread some holiday cheer and make a difference for our community!

Enrolling for the 2025-2026 School Year
NEW STUDENTS
The application period for the Colorado STEM Academy’s 2025-2026 academic year will commence on December 11, 2024 for the first round and conclude on January 11, 2025. The second round will commence on February 10, 2025 and conclude on March 12, 2025. During this time, we encourage prospective parents to submit their applications for each child promptly. Detailed instructions and the application form are linked on our website. Please carefully review the guidelines before completing the application. If you encounter any difficulties, our dedicated office team will be available to assist you.
