CSAWeeklyUpdate_08.30.24
Dear Parents and Community Members,
Can you believe that the first month of the 24-25 school year is already complete? Time flies when you’re having fun, and we’ve had an amazing start here at CSA!
This week, we successfully completed STAR testing for all students in both literacy and math. The data from these assessments will be invaluable as we determine the instructional needs and supports for both whole and small group classes. We are committed to using this information to enhance our teaching strategies and better support each student’s growth.
A friendly reminder that our Candyland-themed Homecoming Parade will take place on Saturday, September 21st. We would love to see all of our STEM families come out and celebrate together. It promises to be a colorful and festive event!
On a more personal note, I have truly enjoyed the opportunities I’ve had to meet students and parents in person. I look forward to continuing our partnership with the STEM community as we support our students' growth and achievement.
Your dedication makes our school community so special. Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement!
Warm regards,
Karina Costas
Principal
Colorado STEM Academy

We believe that uniforms can help build community. We also beleive that individual style is important! For that reason, there are lots of ways that students and familes can show their school spirit at STEM. In addition to the yearly shirt exchange (see flyer below), families can purchase shirts and other swag from our School Store or directly through our vendor.

Many organizations partner with schools to give back to our community, and we’re excited to share information about these valuable collaborations. Flyers detailing these partnerships will be displayed around the school and at the PTA tent, so be sure to check them out to learn how these organizations are supporting our students and programs.
