Weekly Update October 14th - 18th

CSAWeeklyUpdate_10.11.24

Dear CSA Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your ongoing support, which allows us to thrive and create wonderful experiences for our community. Next week will be filled with exciting events starting Monday. Please take a moment to check out all the ways that we can come together and support our kids this week!

Monday morning, students will be previewing our yearly Scholastic Book FairThe fair will be hosted during conferences from 1:30 to 7:30PM. If you are unable to stop by the fair on Monday, you can also shop starting now through October 24th using the link above. If you spend $25 online, the books ship for FREE. If you have any questions, please email the PTA at costemacademypta@gmail.com.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday starting at 2:00. This time will provide a wonderful opportunity for us to connect and discuss your child’s progress. While you are here, please take a moment to learn about our systems, complete the Panorama Survey, and take a nice Fall picture by stopping by our Fall Conferences booth!

Also, don’t miss our Chipotle Restaurant Fundraiser in the evening—grab a delicious meal while supporting our school!

Run4Funds Run Day is Friday, October 18th. Classes will be preparing for this great event early in the week. This is CSA's biggest fundraiser of the year and we are hoping that this year we are able to make our goal of $10,000. More details will be sent out on Monday.

Finally, I'd like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for being part of the vibrant and supportive community we are fortunate to have at CSA. Your involvement and enthusiasm are what make these events not only possible but truly special. Remember, every book purchased, every conference attended, and every taco enjoyed at our Chipotle fundraiser contributes to a stronger, more connected community for our children. Let's make the most of these opportunities to come together, share our experiences, and support one another. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for Friday's Run4Funds Run Day—let's channel our energy and spirit towards reaching that $10,000 goal! Thank you for being such an integral part of this journey. We look forward to seeing you throughout the week!

Warm regards,

Karina Costas

We believe that uniforms can help build community. We also beleive that individual style is important! For that reason, there are lots of ways that students and familes can show their school spirit at STEM. In addition to the yearly shirt exchange (see flyer below), families can purchase shirts and other swag from our School Store or directly through our vendor.

Many organizations partner with schools to give back to our community, and we’re excited to share information about these valuable collaborations. Flyers detailing these partnerships will be displayed around the school and at the PTA tent, so be sure to check them out to learn how these organizations are supporting our students and programs.
