WISH WEEK AT WPS A SUCCESS

The students of Westminster Public Schools, especially Westminster High School, definitely gave their all to Make-A-Wish Colorado.

A few weeks leading up to spring break, there were many events that students were able to participate in to raise money for kids like Ke'Zon in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Colorado Foundation. His wish was to go to Disneyworld with his family.

For that to happen, students needed to raise at least $7,000, and to do that, they hosted events like a movie night, a 5K, a night out at Skate City and so much more. Student council at Westminster High School even sold bagels and doughnuts every morning for additional money. Students were also able to donate by pieing a teacher at the pep assembly that took place on the last day of the Make-A-Wish week.

With the effort of those in the student council at Westminster High School and all the students who participated, a total of $8,457.58 was raised for Ke'Zon!

Below you can watch a video recapping all the events that took place to get Ke'Zon to Disneyworld.
